Did you remember to register to bid? Charlie Ross will be kicking off the festivities at 11:00 EST. The Amelia Island lot includes 81 fine automobiles, ranging from a no-reserve $35,000 1962 MGA Roadster all the way up to a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California, which is estimated to cross the block at upwards of $17 million dollars.

The auction will be live-streamed from the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , so head there a little before 11AM EST.

The much discussed !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! (well, about a third of his Porsche collection) is up for grabs, including his 1959 Porsche 718 RSK.

Speaking of Porsches, there are 29 of them in the tent today. Not the least is the factory !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! that’s pictured at the top of the article. But you don’t have to shell out $3 million to join the party:

At the ‘low’ end is a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! (that’s ‘nine-twelve’ - twelve comes after eleven!) in Gulf Blue with a 5-speed for $60,000.

If you can dig a little deeper into your silk-lined pockets, Jerry will sell you this iconic slice of 1970's Can Am history, a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , which is one of the most powerful sports cars ever to come out of Zuffenhausen or anywhere else for that matter.

You like Ferrari’s, you say? Ah....sit back little grasshopper, and dream of driving under the Tuscan sun in a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , which will hit the hammer somewhere in the neighborhood of $15- to $17 million. I’ve never been to that neighborhood, but I hear it’s nice. Really, really nice...

Bueller? Bueller? Something two - five - zero GT? Ferrari 250 GT.....

If you’re looking for a bargain Italian suit, stroll down to the clearance aisle and pick up a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! for $160,000 (no reserve). Remember when those were selling for less than $50,000?

There are lots of other nice vehicles to consider, such as a 1 of 31 road-going !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! !!!!

You know, these auctioneers and Concours should partner with game devs, so the lattermost can scan the cars on the block (must be good for 2 console gens) and get some data, the pop it to a game. We’d be willing to shell out $20 for such DLC, or even $30 if the organizers and auctioneers want a cut.

I think most of the cost comes from the modeling done by the devs after they scan the cars. But yes, it would be a good place to take a few days and scan some mint cars. Not the least of which would be that 917. #NotInForza

The 912 has just gone for 60K.

Yeah....it was mint, but damn, 60K. I love how Charlie would not take $60,500. “I shall not take five hundred, sir. No. Sixty One....sir.”

I gotta say, the stream is awesome......I got it up on my TV via the YouTube app and the quality is great.

Interesting how most cars have underperformed, regarding their estimates. The Porsche market it slowing down, the general market as well?

Yes....seems slow across the board.

Of course the Seinfeld cars are now bringing the numbers up...

Not as big as expected though.. The whole auction, apart for a few outliers, are bringing in rather low numbers.

Good for enthusiasts, maybe?
